Surf from Casa Dominique principally is the top surf spot of San Juan. San Juan is one of the famous spots of the Canaries. Every year, in October,the San Juan Break sets up one of the venues for the WQS. It is a reefbreak, very funny, and less dangerous than Elquemao de la Santa.

Arrieta: El Espino
El Espino es una de las mejores olas de la isla, pero rompe con muy poca frecuencia. La ola la puedes ver desde la carretera principal a unos 200 metros más al norte del muelle en una explanada sin casas en la que se puede ver el mar con facilidad. Aunque la derecha en pleamar es surfeable, la izquierda es la que realmente es buena. Tiene una sección continua de tubo desde que empieza hasta que acaba y el color del mar la hace aún más exótica. Es mejor que te levantes temprano para surfearla porque los locales no perdonan los pocos días buenos que tiene. Esta costa está muy protegida y necesita mucho mar, el viento debe ser siempre del Oeste porque en otro caso la ola pierde muchísimo.
